Starting Over, My Way
A few years ago, I made the decision to start my life over. And I knew that if I was going to do it, I wanted to build a life that actually felt like mine.
The funny thing is, having the freedom to choose your own path can be just as overwhelming as it is exciting. When everything feels possible, how do you know which direction is actually yours?
For me, tarot and astrology became tools for navigating those moments. When I felt lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of what came next, they helped me slow down, understand myself a little better, and find clarity within all the noise.
Along the way, I've been able to create a path for myself where there once wasn't one. And that's become a huge part of what I want to share with other people: life can be different. You don't have to keep choosing what you've always known, much less what was expected of you.
The unknown can be scary, but I've also learned that it can be pretty amazing. Sometimes stepping into it is exactly how we discover possibilities we couldn't have planned for.
Eventually, the tools that helped me find my own way became something I wanted to share with others. And that journey became Alexandra Aura, a space for curiosity, self-discovery, connection, and a little whimsy along the way.

Why Alexandra Aura?
My grandmother was vibrant, expressive, and a true force of nature in her community. Carrying her name feels like carrying forward a little of that spirit: connection, joy, creativity, and the courage to take up space in the world.But Alexandra Aura is also deeply connected to the little girl in this photo.
As I've built a life that feels more like my own, I've learned to look back to her for guidance too. What made her curious? What made her excited? What did she love before she learned what she was supposed to want?
A lot of the whimsy you see in Alexandra Aura comes from that relationship with my inner child. The colors, charms, stars, playfulness, and permission to try things simply because they sound fun are reminders that growing into yourself doesn't always mean becoming more serious.
In a way, Alexandra Aura holds both: the woman whose name I inherited and the little girl I used to be. One reminds me where I come from, and the other reminds me where I want to go.
Aura is more than a business name.
It’s my middle name, and the name of my maternal grandmother.
